PPC Services Pay Per Click
Some forms of digital marketing are slower than others. That is why many companies choose to invest in online advertising. One of the most popular is called “Pay Per Click” advertising, usually shortened to PPC. PPC allows companies to obtain ad space with no immediate cost, and pay only when someone clicks on their advertisement (hence, “Pay Per Click”). Our PPC Services are fast and affordable.
Many websites and services offer PPC to businesses hoping to improve their digital reach. At Digital Marketing Service Pro, we can manage your entire PPC advertising campaigns, both as their own standalone service and as part of our comprehensive marketing management support. PPC: Gain High Level Brand Exposure and Attract More Leads
When you purchase ad space in a magazine, you have no idea if anyone will see it or call you, and if they don’t, all that money is wasted. When you purchase ad space for a set time period (for example, the month of June), you are paying for that ad space hoping that it brings you leads and visitors. If it doesn’t, that money is wasted.
Pay Per Click ads are different. Because you only pay when someone clicks on an ad, you are only paying for that specific lead. By calculating the value of a lead and refining the advertisement’s audience and key terms, you can start to generate more and more leads and instantly get an outstanding return on investment.
Make the Right Decisions for Your Brand With PPC Advertising
PPC advertising is an effective way to get leads fast. But it can also be difficult to do on your own. One wrong keyword, and you’re wasting potentially thousands of dollars on clicks that do not turn into leads.
That’s why it’s important to consider turning your PPC campaigns over to a company that understands how to create ads that get noticed, utilize keywords correctly, and manage the data in ways that can get you these instant leads.
What is PPC?
Pay Per Click, or “PPC” advertising refers to any type of advertising where the company (that’s you) pays only when your ad receives a click. Your ad can get 10,000 views and 0 clicks and you pay nothing out of pocket, or it can get 3 views and 3 clicks and you pay all 3 times.
It is an approach that was popularized by Google for their search engine ads. The other two types of ads are Pay Per Impression (known as PPM, not PPI, for some reason), where the company pays for a specific amount of views (for example, 50,000 views) no matter how many clicks it receives, or flat rate ads for a specific time period, like “$XX for the month of July.”
How Does PPC Work?
With PPC ads, companies compete with each other, typically by bidding for keywords. For example, if one company is willing to pay $10 per click, and another is willing to pay $11 per click, the company that is willing to pay more will usually be the one that shows up first.
These companies also have maximum budgets. For example, a company that has a $100 per day budget will only receive clicks until they’ve used up their budget. Then, the next company will get clicks until they’ve used up their budget, and so on.
PPC ads have become more sophisticated over time, so the actual way these ads work may vary depending on which ad platform you’re using. Google, for example, now uses factors like quality score and click-through rate to determine ad placement. But in essence, how PPC ads work is by using a bidding system with a daily or monthly budget.
What Are the Advantages of PPC Advertising?
PPC ads offer several advantages over other forms of advertising.
- Paying Per Lead – The pay structure is a primary draw for many marketers as it only requires you to pay when you receive a click. You do not have to pay for impressions or to place your ad as you would with print and media advertising.
- Hyper-Targeting – PPC ads allow you to reach targeted audiences based on the keywords you choose. Traditional advertising like a radio spot or billboard will be shown to anyone who listens or anyone who drives by. The costs of these forms of advertising reflect that, making them expensive options that only appeal to a select few who see them.
- Instant – Although many websites use PPC ads, they are most commonly associated with search engines. Now, in an ideal world, your company would use “SEO,” or “Search Engine Optimization,” to naturally show up high in search engines when a user searches for your products or services. But SEO takes time. PPC ads are instant. You are essentially buying the first results in the search engine, so there is no need to wait for SEO to work.
You can use keywords to tailor your PPC advertising to reach exactly the customers most likely to engage with the ad. If you have multiple ads, you can further segment your audience to show them an ad that will resonate, increasing your chances for a successful click.
What Are the Different Types of PPC Ads?
Many companies offer PPC advertising. The companies that sell advertising like it because there is essentially no limit to how much money they can make, and advertisers like it because they only have to pay when they get a lead. Some examples of where you might find these different types of PPC ads include:
The most common type of PPC ads are search ads. These are ads that appear like search results in search engines in Google, Bing, and others.
Display ads are ads that show up as images or text on websites outside of search engines. These are more affordable but less targeted.
Some social media websites use a similar PPC model for their advertising. They may be in a user’s feed or on the side like a traditional display ad.
Remarketing is a fascinating type of display ad. With these ads, people that visit your site will see ads for your site on other websites if they leave.
Google Shopping Ads
Google, and other search engines, have their own shopping platforms. If you want to show up ahead of other products, PPC ads can help.
More and more internet users consume video. Ads that come up in between those videos are known as “in-stream ads,” and can be PPC.
Gmail Sponsored Promotions (GSP)
Over a billion people use gmail as their primary email service. Gmail offers a sponsored promotion using PPC that shows up like an email in their promotions tab.
Local Services Ads
One of the newest features of several search engines are known as “local service ads” which use PPC bidding to advertise local home services.
Digital Marketing Services
Our digital marketing services are one of many ways that we help you grow your business. We manage every part of the digital marketing process, with services that improve your presence across any and all potential avenues.
SEO vs. PPC: Which is the Right Strategy for Your Brand?
The key to growing your business is to be found in search engines. SEO is designed to help you show up in search engines naturally, for free, other than the cost of the SEO itself. With PPC ads, you pay to be placed as an ad on the top of search engines, no matter where you show up naturally.
Many people argue whether SEO vs. PPC is a better choice. But they should be viewed as two separate approaches for short and long term marketing. SEO takes time and effort, but the results can be outstanding. PPC is instant, allowing you to get leads right now. The best strategy is to invest in PPC while you wait for SEO to start bringing in leads, and then you can re-adjust your budget.
Leverage PPC Marketing and Take Advantage of Consumer Search Opportunities
SEO is about trying to show up high in search for various search terms. But it’s very difficult to target every single one. That’s why, even as your search presence improves, you can leverage PPC marketing to take advantage of all the searches you’re not currently ranking for. This allows you to continue to grow your business even after our SEO efforts have started to kick in.
We Help You Improve Your Quality Score and Generate More Online Revenue
PPC ads are all about ROI. You determine how much a targeted visit or lead is worth, and you enter a price per click that is worth that lead. But services like Google Ads also determine your price per click based on your “quality score” – a score that indicates the relevance of your website to the search query. The work we do on your site is designed to improve your quality score, lowering your cost per click so you can generate more online revenue.
Why PPC Marketing Works For Your Business
There are many reasons why PPC works for your business. It is a valuable tool for essentially any industry, and as long as it’s configured correctly, it has numerous advantages, which include:
Low Barrier to Entry
PPC ads do not require extensive, ongoing work in order to use them. Once you’ve set up your Adwords account correctly, you can let it run and start immediately seeing benefits.
Improved Brand Visibility
PPC ads are unique, in that because you do not have to pay unless you get a click, you’re able to give your brand essentially free visibility across multiple platforms.
PPC ads can be hyper-targeted, allowing you to reach your exact customer for the exact terms that they use to find your products and services.
Most forms of online marketing take time to kick in. Adwords is instant, bypassing the traditional wait time to get you new business right away.
When you need to test something, like the conversion rate of a new page, ad text, sales, and more, PPC gets you immediate hits to get the answers you need.
Immediate and Consistent Traffic
Once your Adwords has been refined, the traffic can be ongoing and consistent every month. It’s possible to let it run and still see results.
Expansive Traction Channels
PPC allows you to quickly test multiple advertising venues across the internet, without requiring an ongoing cost. You can test to see where customers are.
Most PPC programs provide mountains of data that can be used in other ways, from determining your audience or finding your most profitable key terms.
Everything in an PPC ad can be edited and altered to fit your brand. That allows us to consistently refine your campaigns to make sure they’re performing better and better.
What is Search Engine Marketing?
PPC and SEO are both part of what is sometimes referred to as “Search Engine Marketing,” or “SEM.” It refers to any form of marketing that is geared towards search engines, though it is more heavily invested in PPC. When someone is trying to figure out what search engine marketing is, they’re traditionally looking for anyone that can help them show up high in search engines through any means.
